Meet Mike

Hello, I’m Mike Buchanan. I know pain and setbacks all too well. As an athlete, I was recruited by colleges in four different sports but injuries kept me from ever starting a regular season. My dreams of competing professionally were all but shattered due to one injury after another.

As a spiritual mentor and sports chaplain I’ve spent over 30 years working with athletes at the high school, Division I college, and professional level, helping them understand their pain and leverage it into their superpower.

I am a lifelong learner of the Word of God, and I love Jesus. I am married to my best friend and have three children. Currently, I split my time between working with athletes, writing, and speaking to audiences around the world.
